Paywall a video with Stripe

Capture Sweet gives you two complementary tools for selling access, and they work well together:

• A Stripe checkpoint at a timestamp— the video plays normally, then pauses at the moment you choose and asks for payment before it continues. This is the "tease free, gate the rest" pattern: hook the viewer with the first few minutes, then charge for the payoff.
• A Stripe checkout module on the page— a checkout block lives on the share page next to the video, so viewers can pay whenever they're ready rather than at a fixed point in the playback.

   Open the video's editor

   From your library, open the recording and click Edit to open the page builder.

   Add a checkpoint at the timestamp you want

   Scrub to the moment where the free preview should end — right after the hook — and add a checkpoint there. Choose the Stripe payment type.

   Set the price and connect Stripe

   Enter the amount and connect your Stripe account. Viewers who reach the checkpoint pay before the video continues.

   Publish

   Hit Publish and the share page is live. Everyone watches the free portion; only buyers see past the checkpoint.
