Search the words, jump to the moment
Every Capture Sweet recording gets an automatic transcript. On the share page it's fully searchable — find a phrase, click it, and the video seeks straight to where it was said.

How the searchable transcript works
When you record, Capture Sweet transcribes the audio automatically — you don't request it or wait around for it. The transcript syncs to the video, so every line knows its timestamp.
On the share page, that turns into two things viewers actually use: search — type a word and jump to where it appears — and click-to-jump — click any line and the video seeks to that exact moment. A long walkthrough becomes something you skim instead of sit through.
How to add the transcript to a share page
- 1
Open the video's editor
From your library, open the recording and click Edit to open the page builder. - 2
Add the Transcript module
In the Modules section, click + Add Module and choose Transcript. It drops onto the page with search and click-to-jump already wired up. - 3
Place it where it reads best
Use a two-column or split layout to put the transcript beside the video so viewers can read and watch at once. - 4
Publish
Hit Publish and the searchable transcript is live on your share page.
If a transcript is missing
Transcription runs automatically, but occasionally a recording lands before its transcript finishes processing — give it a moment and re-open the editor. If a video genuinely has no spoken audio, there may simply be nothing to transcribe.
Once the transcript exists, adding the Transcript module to the page is all it takes to make it searchable for viewers.
Make every recording skimmable
Automatic transcripts come with every recording on the free plan — search and click-to-jump included.
